Eligibility

Two-year Regional College of Education, NCERT. Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Knowledge of computer applications, Ability to teach through Hindi and English medium.

PGT (Chemistry)

 OR Chemistry Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

PGT (Geography)

OR Geography Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

PGT (English)

 OR English Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

PGT (Commerce)

Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Financial Accountancy with Commerce subject. However M.Com in Applied/Business Economics. Degree holders will not be eligible.

PGT (History+Civics)

 OR History+Civics Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

PGT (Mathematics)

. OR Mathematics / Applied Mathematics Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

PGT (Economics)

 OR Economics / Applied Economics / Commerce Economics Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects

Must have passed equivalent four-year graduate course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in overall. OR Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject/combination of subjects. At the Higher Secondary level with one of the following

Knowledge of computer applications, Ability to teach through Hindi and English medium.

TGT (PTI/Male)

Bachelor of Physical Education/B.P.Ed. Or its equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in music singing or its equivalent

TGT (Music/Singing)

(a) Sangeet Visharad Examination in Music Singing of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai

(b) Music of Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh (M.P.) Music Viol Exam in Singing

(c) Prabhakar examination in music singing of Prayag Sangeet Samiti (Academy of Music), Allahabad.

(d) Buldelkhand Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow Sangeet Visharad

(e) Final examination from Madhav Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Lashkar Gwalior.

TGT (English)

English Literature as a subject in all three years.

TGT (Mathematics + Science)

Mathematics, and any two of the following subjects – Physics/Chemistry/Electronics/Statistics/Computer Science

TGT (Social Science)

Any two of the following subjects – History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, any one of these

TGT (English Geography)

English and Geography Literature as a subject in all three years.

Educational Qualification for PRT Post

(A) Second class Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

(B) Two years Diploma/Certificate in Basic Teachers Training or its equivalent Diploma in Education/Teaching from a recognized University.

(C) CTET Must have passed (Primary stage)/TET (Primary level).

(D) Ability to teach through Hindi and English medium.

Desirable:- Knowledge of computer applications.
