(A) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with atleast 55% marks as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2009.

OR

Atleast 50% Marks in the B.P.Ed. Degree/ B.P.Ed (Integrated) Four years Professional Degree in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10th December, 2007.

OR

B. P. Ed. With atleast 55% marks or B. P. E Course (or its equivalent) of three years duration with atleast 50% marks in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of Application for Recognition, the Time Limit of Submission of Application, Determination of Norms and Standards for Recognition of Teacher Education Programmes and Permission to Start New Course or Training) Regulation, 2002 Notified on 13th

November, 2002.

(B) M. P. Ed of atleast two years duration from any National Council for Teacher Education Recognised Institution

CHIEF LAW ASSISTANT

A University Degree in Law with 3 years standing practice as a Pleader at Bar. Serving
Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible to apply for these posts,
provided they have served for atleast 5 years in any Branch of the Railway Administration. Vacancies earmarked for Direct Recruitment should also be available to the Railway Magistrates who are desirous of applying for such posts and who also fulfill the prescribed qualification for the direct recruits.

PUBLIC PROSECUTOR

Graduate with Bachelor degree in Law from recognized University and with five year
standing as an advocate at Bar

PHYSICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Graduate with Bachelors in Physical Education (B. P. Ed) or its equivalent. Competency in imparting Physical Education in English medium

TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER / ARTS

(A) Graduation (in Arts) and 2 year Diploma in Elementary education (by whatever name known).
OR
Atleast 50% marks either in Graduation (in Arts) or in Post-Graduation (in Arts) and B.Ed.
OR
Graduation (in Arts) with atleast 45% marks and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary education (B.El.Ed).
OR
12th(+2Stage) (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4 year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or
B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation (in Arts) with atleast 50% marks and one year B.Ed (Special Education).
OR

(B) Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by the appropriate government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 09th December, 2013.
(C) Competency in teaching in Bengali medium.

SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT / TRAINING

(A) Second Class Masters Degree in Psychology.
(B) One year experience in Administration of Psychological tests

JUNIOR TRANSLATOR / HINDI

(A) Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in Hindi or English with
English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than
Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or
elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than
Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects of either
of the two as medium of examination and other as a compulsory or elective subject at

(B) Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and
